My CD-player (CDJ-500S) is f*cking around
One of my Pioneer CDJ-500S' is driving me nuts! When I switch it on the lid just pops up, and when I close it it just keeps poping back up all the freakin' time!
After a while of torturing and pressing all the step, cue and play-buttons it finally reads the CD...same shit starting over again when I put another CD in...and it just keeps getting worse...I was just in the middle of a perfect set when this piece of shit wouldn't read my CD and everything was ruined...
Has anyone of you had the same problem, and what did you do about it?
(And PLEASE spare me the "Get a pair of Technics 1200's instead" posts...)
clean your cd, use one of those cd cleaners for you cdj laser and if the problem is still there i say call pioneer.

Well, these are over three years old, so the warinty only lasts a year...
ack yea that could be a problem, its best to get a new one i guess if you cant fix it with the advice above anyways cd decks have come so far along since the 500
