get yrself msn plus, its a good programme, but i dont think it is possible.
Something u could do is block everyone on yr list, and then unblock them when u wanna talk to them

but when you block someone....dont you seem online then OFFLINE right after to the person that you blocked? Thats how ppl usually tell if someone blocked them. Unless MSN fixed it..or msn plus took care of that..

Well block everyone on yr list when yr status is offline, then whenever u use msn just unblock the people u wanna talk to

Try Trillian, there you can choose to have the same status when you sign in as you had when you signed out

yes but u could just be going offline unless someone u havent blocked yet is chatting to another of your online friends & says something. but i think its fairly safe to do it that way.
