Signum vs Ferry Corsten

Used to listen to a lot of Ferry Corsten productions a year or two ago. They were wonderfully melodic and he used very sharp and powerful synths. But lately his stuff has gotten a little more weird and even a bit cheesy sometimes and for this reason I've stayed away from his tracks.

I just heard Signum's remix of Laura Turner - Soul Deep. What an amazing track! This is probably the first time I've been reminded of the 2000-01 Ferry Corsten sound and what I loved about it since his Out of the Blue album. Listening back on some other recent Signum productions like Push Through I've also noticed a little bit of the same style in those tracks. I hope Signum is picking up where Ferry left off

i feel the same way..some of ferry's productions (but not dj sets) are becoming sorta cheesy and signum is as good as they were back in the day if not better.

I know what you mean. Ferry's style is changing (for good or bad?) but Signum are just the bomb!! I love 'Push Through', just cant stop playing it, and 'Second Wave' is my all-time fav.

MORE, MORE, MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

although the last three signum tunes (push through, cura me, second wave) are good, they dont compare to what signum used to do. ferry corsten's productions have slowly become very mediocre, which sucks because he used to be one of my favorites with his moonman stuff and old system f. why he has turned to these shitty productions, i do not know. all i know is that some of these top djs need to take a break from djing and start doing some quality productions like they used to do. all the good songs that come out are not from the top djs anymore, that is why many people are disappointed when the long awaited tune from their favorite dj come out, they just really dont have so much time to make it like they used to.
one can take a look at mr airwave. his productions have been good for so long. he is so consistent, and why, because he doesnt dj that much leaving more time in the studio. thats just what i think though
