hmm..... speaking from experience...
I was 20 when I started dating my X... she was 15... But she didn't look it, didn't act it, and sure her mind was way behind her age. She was a cool person to be around. Sure, she had her fits of immaturity but all in all, I did not notice the age difference. My friends made jokes of me and even called me "craddle robber" or "pedo" or "child molester"... but it didn't matter, they knew that she was "exception to the rule"... For her, the trade off was a guy with a steady job, living in his own apartment, able to take her out not to BK or MacDonalds but to a classy joint. Guy who was able to "spoil" her. I dunno about "experience" part, coz' it our relationship wasn't 100% based on physical side of things. We broke up because I knew what I wanted, to get married - she wasn't ready. She wanted to finish college, get a career, a very ambitious person who sometimes didn't make our relationship as much of a priority as her studies. Those girls are hard to find... We went our own way and we're still friends but the surprising part was that after we broke up she started dating a guy who was 28! I was 23 at the time... So I asked myself the same question: "What the fcuk!?"... Even found myself quoting Adam Sandler from "Big Daddy" - my favorite quote "His old balls.... just hanging" LOL
anywho... that was not the first time too! I had another long term relationship with a girl my age in highschool.. We went out for 2.5 years and after we broke up she started seeing a 28 year old geezer, her being 18 at the time... So, I know what you're feelin'...
I guess what a girl wants is a guy who's confident and sure of himself.. A guy who is not on an emotional/hormonal rollercoaster, guided by his little head. If you're in that "mature" category, you're ahead of the curve.
Sure, romance and love are great but it sucks when you can't take your girl out to a nice restaurant coz' your mom cut your allowance off. Some girls want a guy who has been through several relationships and knows what to expect. They usually are out of their hormonal stage and are more reasonable and able to put up with more of thier childish bullshit. Keep in mind that most chicks look for a "father figure" in their man. It's kinda hard to fill that category if you're the same age. Besides, a girl wants to be envied by her friends... When I used to pull up to pick up my X in a nice luxury car her friends were green with envy.... Hate to say it but "money talks..." sad? -yes... true? definitely... no matter how much you wnat to believe that "money can't buy you love" trust me, as the guy who didn't always have the leisure of spoling his GF, not having dough sucks.. you may not be able to buy love but it sure helps.
Don't take my word though, it's not "one size fits all" case... some chix don't care about nice dates out on the town, they care about how they are treated and how man behaves.
And finally... physical part does play a big role... No matter how experienced in bed you think you are, you do get better as you get older.. You know what to do and know what not to do... so, to some that are willing to take the risk of being chareged with a statuatory rape the rewards are, how should I say it... a girl that hasn't been "spoiled" yet... Gross, I know... thank lord I am married and I can look back at that time and have a nice chuckle.. But trust me, for girl, dating an older guy is better than for a guy dating a younger girl... Sometimes the bs you have to put up with is not worth it.
Don't worry... You'll reach that age soon enough and then you can look back and say "who would want to date a 15 year old?" Believe me, it's not as great as you think it is.
Oh and finally... it helps if you have the looks too. Sometimes getting in shape is the key, coz' physical attraction is all about the looks.
good luck, young Jedi! ))))
/end of rant
