Hi guys/gals I'll be visiting Seattle from 16th-25th of this month. I used to live there in a boarding school for a year... So I am coming back down to visit some old friends, I have not seen in ages.

First of all I need help with finding some decent record shops that cary techno/house on vinyl.

Secondly, are there any events worth hitting up in that time frame?

Thirdly, any meetups, or anything of that sort... I mean just in case I get bored of my friends (whom I have not seen in 5 years) just a backup plan to do something else... Maybe you can bring along a friend, esp if her name is mary...

ok, for your vinyl question... you could hit up both Frequency-8 and platinum records... from those places, the people there could tell you some other locations... both places are on Broadway...


as for a party, the group im with, Lovetribe, we're throwing a show on Sept. 20, at the Washington Hall on Broadway... so far, two of our guest DJs are Chris C and Madam Zu... check our website out for more info...

Another decent shop is groove tech, around the same area but forget the exact address. Close to Platinum I think.

On the 16th Simply Jeff is playing @ Medusa if you are into his style. Medusa is more of a LA or Vegas Type club, lots of beautiful people but they have really been brining it latley. I'll probably head to this show.

Keep your eyes peeled to www.nwtekno.org and when you get into Seattle grab a copy of The Strange, its a free paper and lists all sorts of weekly events etc. in it for local clubs.
