Evita kicks majorly. It's my favorite of his work because of the maturity that manages to come across in musical form. Glosses over much of the actual history of Eva Peron, but still presents a moving historical story.
Cats is whimsical and innane, but fun all the same.
Never saw Phantom. Never liked Jesus Christ Superstar at all; too much of a "typical" musical to me.
In fact, Webber is as far as I go in terms of musicals. Most of the rest make me vomit with their total disconnect from reality and trite use of dance numbers. Blech! Cats is the only exception because it revels in its total fantasy rather than mixing it with reality, plus it's based off of the poetry of T.S. Eliot, lending some artistic merit.
