Smiley DJ Pioneer DJM600 Question

Can any of you DJM600 owners tell me what your master output attenuator is set to? (the small screw on the back of the mixer that controls the gain of the master out)

I don't have an amp with a sound meter and I want my mixer to be putting out 0dB. I heard that when the attenuator is maxed out (the notch is at about 5 o'clock), it can put out over 10dB. I play in a small lounge every week, and the amp I'm hooked into doesn't have a sound meter either. If any of you have measured the output of your DJM600 to 0dB, can you tell me what your attenuator is set to? Is the little notch at 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock?

Thanks

I'm curious to know what you are talking about! I have a DJM-600 and I can't find a screw, lemme know more about the screw, I am very curious to as why my levels have been so low! This might be the answer.

peace.

Steve

Yeah, i found it shortly after i made the post. It does nothing for me when i turn it, its all the way up already. My problem is, when i turn the bass up all the way there is hardly any bass. SO i broke the little piece under the knob so i can turn further. now the bass seems correct, but i shouldn't have to do that for it to bass right. What is the deal with my shit???

Hey P47, thanks for the pic, much appreciated

Just wondering if you record from your master out? I know there are jacks for recording on the DJM600, but I'd prefer to record from the master out. How do your recordings sound with your attenuator at this setting (assuming you have your PC/laptop line-in set propery)?

Evan, you can only turn the attenuator from about 7 o'clock (minimum setting) clockwise to about 5 o'clock (maximum setting). I hope your attenuator is ok
