Exclamation Fisherman By Day "Terrorist" By Night

Fisherman By Day "Terrorist" By Night

By NIKO PRICE, Associated Press Writer

08/27/03: BAGHDAD, Iraq - The fisherman had just decided to take up arms, and he shook with fear as the American convoy approached his hiding place. As he later told it, he fired a rocket-propelled grenade into a Humvee and ran away as fast as he could.

Nobody gave chase, he said, and in the time that has passed since that April attack, his band of seven guerrillas has slipped into an easy rhythm of attacking American convoys every few days.

"I catch fish in the morning and Americans at night," he said. "Catching Americans is easier than catching fish."

I think that if this is true America should be telling us how things are going. ITs is our right to know.

I don't understand the nature of your request. This story was on CNN yesterday.

Edit: LoL and now that I actually opened up your link, I'm amused by the headliner "news you won't find on CNN".

"The United States hasn't reported more than three soldiers killed in any attack since the war. " - your cnn source.
MY point is that the American gov should be updating us.

The pentagon is obligated to release news information on American soldiers killed in Iraq. Just because "Salahuddin" says it happened, it happened? Well shit, if the Pentagon wanted to avoid ALL the negative media reports, why the fuck report any casualties at all?

Well if it is a respectable news source such as reuters, AP, etc., you know people who actually verify the accuracy of reports, then it is a cause for concern. Until then however, it is just noise.

These terrorists in Iraq have to be stopped I'm sick of seeing the dead pile up. Today a British soldier got killed after the became surrounded by the Iraqis. One thing that fucking pisses me off Is in the UK they say the British army is using a less full on approach to dealing with the locals, I think its all fucking bollocks this strategy these people are killing like the IRA did in Northern Ireland yet the army are treating them in a more nice manner? like wtf Nationalists got treated like shit in Northern Ireland by the British army yet these people kill and get treated nicely, my people got fucking shot to fuck my paratroopers during a peacefull human rights march these people execute soldiers and fucking get away with it.

I say shoot on site policies they had these in Northern Ireland its a harsh tactic and I don't like it, but I want these Iraqis to be treated worse then anyone in Northern Ireland was, like they executed 6 British Miltary Police in a Police station they were followed by a mob practicially the whole village who waited for them to run out of ammo then moved in, them 6 lads who died were brave men, those dirty Iraqi bastards who killed them are nothing to me but cowards, It pisses me off there was no arrests no retailation in return for that, the whole Village followed them in for fuck sake. If I was an Army general the minute I got news of that I would of sent a fucking SAS team into the village and fucked the bastards up.

They need shoot on site policies If anyone looks suspcious put the bastards down, they need to offer rewards to people to rat on their fellow Iraqis these are dirty harsh tactics but this is the only way it will work. These Heart and Mind tactics aren't working.

Special Forces need to be used more in Northern Ireland how the British discovered IRA teams is they put observation posts up teams would hide in fucking ditch near a location for about a week gather as much information they could and then make the kill. The SAS got one of the most efficent IRA units in the 1980s this way at Loughall before they were planning to shoot up a Police Station they intercepted them killing every one of them.

You can say I'm Irish and I should relate to how the Iraqis feel however when my people shot a soldier or detonated a bomb the British army came down on us like a ton of bricks and the Iraqis aren't getting this treatment.

RPGs have been around since, what? The 70's? They aren't exactly the most technologically advanced weapon out there.

Now if it were a Stinger or TOW missle it would be a difference story.

Heh, I guess being knew around here and not knowing everybody's way of communicating I could be completely missing your sarcasm.

The Final Fantasy series used to be the best RPG's around, but lately they have been steadily decreasing in quality. I guess the peak was with FF7.

EDIT: Actually this varies with your definition of RPG. If you consider PC RPG's as well, then I dunno, haven't played many.
