Where in Motreal is Aria?

I just found out that Aria is in the greatest city of all times, Montreal! I've seen a few videos from Aria with some of the greates DJ's, but I never realized that Aria was located in Montreal.

As a true Canadiens fan since many many years back I hope to be able to visit Montreal some time, and after a Habs game on a Saturday, why not celebrate the victory over the Leafs at Aria?

A dream come true would really be if I could move to Montreal and make a career there when I'm done with my education. But that's really a loooooooooong shot....

I've also heard that Montreal is the safest large city in the world? (With safest I mean that the chances of getting a gun pointed to your head on a tuesday evening are rather slim). Is that so?

Go Habs Go!

Montreal is the best place to live IF you SPEAK FRENCH! If not then you will have a really hard time getting a job. In my opinion Montreal is as dangerous as any other city.. I have seen some farked up people downtown But most of them were crackheads and hobos which you cant really do anything about.

Damn, that's too bad. All I know in French is "merci beaucoup". That phrase could come in hand when my secretary brings my morning coffe in to my office on the 67th floor in some big famous building in central Montreal.

I also know the more famous phrase "Would you like to f-... with me?" Although I don't know how to spell it...It could also be useful if my secretary is somewhat good looking and has large boobs

Is the French language hard to learn by the way?

French is pretty easy I guess but I learned it in school so I cant really know for sure. Someone told me if you can memorise three words in french a day you will speak french very good in about 2-3 months. I learned a lot of german this year and I heard its very hard to learn but it depends how motivated you are.

Well, German does relate to English and Swedish a whole lot, so that's really not a problem, but French on the other hand is a bit different.

2-3 words/day doesn't seem to be that difficult. Not even 5 or 10, no matter what language you are learning, but the grammar on the on the other hand could be a bitch in some languages. Hungarian for example (which is my mother language) is concidered to be the hardest of all languages to master.

Then there are AT LEAST 15-20 words that issues from "Tudó", which can mean everything from Knowledge to Scientist and Science. It's a very complicated languge, especially the grammar...I just fear French being the same...

hey there,
you should really come to montreal, cause yeah it's the freaking best town IMO even if there is some stinky parts...
as for french, I really dont know if it's hard to learn cause I've always been talking french...it may be a little harder than english mostly because of the grammar but you dont neceserely need to master it to make yourself understandable...you have to remember that about all french people here talk english anyway...
besides that, girls are awesome here, great place to party...
WICKED CITY!!

but yeah theres also the winter here which is kinda cold but hey, it aint that bad
