white sun - extration

not 100% if i have posted it here before, but nevermind since i have made some changes to it since last time if i know have posted it before...

i don't know about the melodie.. a friend of mine really likes it and almost think's it could be a hit if i worked some on it.. but i don't know.. might be becaus i have listened to it so many freaking times...

but please comment on it

ohh.. and the name... wtf is extration.. have no idea.. but the title kinda just wrote itself

yeah.. i know that extraction is a word.. but i didn't even think of it when i wrote the title.. have no idea what i got it from.

OK, review here:

Overall, the track is awesome, I love it.

First build up is very nice, then the 2nd build up is good too, however, from about 3:15 mark it sounds like a DJ is mixing a live set and is going to a totally new track, the transition to a different track is complete at 3:33, it plays for a while and then all of the sudden the melody from the 1st track comes back.

So to me it sounds like, these are 2 tracks mixed together, and 2nd track is played for a few seconds, then back to the 1st, it really sounds like it, not like this is one track.

Also, in general, it's a bit repetitive.

Overall, great work, keep improving little by little, this is fairly good stuff.

Yes.

Liked the melody but I sometimes think it plays second fiddle to the percussion. Well up until about 5 minutes (or something I can't really remember) when the melody sound changes - it sounds so much better this way and should be this way from the start. Maybe have a different change at the the 5 min mark?
