I said to myself as the thread was loading "somebody is going to have said jan johnston already"... and i was wrong.. two people have, and on that note, i'm going to have to disagree... While jan johnston's nice voice has been in a literal myriad of tracks I wouldn't necessarily call it good. It seems too.. generic to me.
vocalists i dig:
- Dave Gahan (depeche modes vocalist aswell IIRC?)
- vocalist from dave matthews band (Dave Matthews im guessing )
- Bjork (her voice is odd.. and thats great!)
- Kirsty Hawkshaw (it's a fine day...)
- Mavie Marcos (sp?) (andain's singing component =) )
- Justin Timberlake (dons flame retardant suit..)
*edit* while i was composing my message the thread expanded significantly so more like half the people have said jan johnston so far.. my bad =) also whoever does the vocals in Halogen vs Bluephaze - On a bridge (original) ... it's mint.. and that's the non "OMG I DIE whore" in me speaking.. *edit2* apparently its Jasmine Yee... if you haven't heard "on a bridge".. then your missing out *edit 4* i didn't realize it said "trance track" until just now most of the vocalists i listed = prog or not even electronica (except through remixes).. my bad
