Beam vs Cyrus - Thunder in paradise (tomahawk mix)

Okay, first I have to ask which is the real tomahawk mix???? I first heard this song on "the late night laboratory" with DJ Alvarado a while back. I know that he did not play the dj scott remix or the original mix. SO I searched and found at satellite records the tomahawk mix and it was the one that I was looking for and heard. But, when I searched online on napster and found it, it sound almost the same but yet different. Kind of dead and weird. Not like that one that I heard in a couple of clubs or from the late night laboratory. If anyone knows what I am talking about, please post a sample so I can hear it. It sounds almost like the original, but the drum and bass line is a bit different. It is harder than the original, but not as hard as the DJ Scott remix. Please let me know. Thanks

Ok, you see. That is what i am talking about. This one almost sounds like the one that I am talking about. But, it does not have the vocals of "thunder in paradise" like the original. THe one that I heard (which I got on cassete) on the radio and clubs sounds almost like that original, but with the tomahawk bass and drum beat.

Satellite records had the one that I like (tomahawk) but the link does not work to sample it. I don't know if they came out with a couple of different Tomahawk mixes, because that one that you posted is almost on the money, but a bit different. Now, it shouldn't be a special mix by a live dj, because i heard it on the radio a couple of times and at two clubs. And, satellite records had the sample, but the link does not work anymore. BUt thanks for tryingl. If anyone else has a different tomahawk version, post it. Now I really want to know which fuckin version was the one that I've been hearing.

I need to get my cassette deck connected to my computer so I can post a sample of the song. Then you guys will know what I am talking about. How would I record from a cassette deck??? Do I do it from the windows recorder??? Or do I use something like cuebase? I have it on cassette, but I want it on MP3 .

connect the 'line out' (cinch) of your cassette deck with the 'line in' of your soundcard (you'll need a special adapter for that) and use something like Cool Edit to record a sample...
