Hey everyone! Read the site a lot, but have never posted before. I am taking a 4 day vaction to Toronto, I will be there Aug. 29 - Sep 1. I am wondering if I could get the names and address of places to go record shopping, and any clubs I should make a point of going to. Thanks in advance. Peace!

Well as far as clubnights go, look no further than this. Rumor has it that the Guvernment will be jam-packed, but the lineup is worth it, IMHO.

Release is nice and roomy, with high quality listening stations. Super friendly staff.

Play de Record has, by FAR, the best selection in Toronto but only if you're willing to put in some elbow grease and do some crate diggin. It's truly a shop for the music lovers, with a wide selection of every type of genre.

and PDR is VERY cramped... it's also the shop of choice (as far as I know) for the hip hop crowd.

Very cool post.. I'll be vacationing in Toronto this december.. so yea will be on the look out for record stores myself. Will have to check those out.
