im looking for some suggestions as to good live sets, or even mixed cds in the Epic Trance Genre

I'm someone who likes a wide variety of trance "types" but I don't really know how to properly define any of them. Is epic trance one where the songs tend to be shorter and higher bpm with lots of anthemic swells to them? Does epic include vocals or does that automatically make it vocal trance?

There is no genre called "epic trance". People just say epic trance to mean melodic or uplifting trance. You could describe something as "epic" but opinions differ on what that actually means, and you could have epic trance tracks or epic prog house, epic techno, epic whatever...

wwwwwwwhat??? what the hell is epic prog house or epic techno, I've heard of deep progressive house and hard techno/minimal techno but never epic progressive house nor epic techno. Where did you come up with this stuff???

and btw. uplifting and/or melodic can also be Cyber Trance, Euphoric Trance, Progressive Trance, Deep Progressive Trance, Hard Trance,Tech-Trance, even Psy Trance and YES EPIC TRANCE!!!
