hmm donät know if anyone has posted anything about this in the masteringthread already but I guess not since your'e asking 
well I can say right away that you should stay away from programs like T-racks and ozone and such...although they might be easy to use the fact remains....the result will not be good enough because of the limitations...

what the most proffesional mastering enginers use are either a set of hardware effects or a set of software plugins...
as for hardware I don't have a clue on what's good and not so I'll stay off that one
as for software, well I've noticed that almost everyone that use software and that is something in the biz use the waves tools (www.waves.com)
the waves tools are a set of software plugins (eq, limiter, reverb, image enhanchers, compressors and on and on, read more on their page )
well anyway in my opinion they do the trick for me and they outclass programs such as T-racks and ozone without any problems
the main problem with ozone and T-racks is that you can't set up the mastering chain by yourself, it's already decided in the program.
This is pretty bad because sometimes you maybe need to put in a few extra steps like an EQ before the first compressor and so on and this is not possible with T-racks and ozone as far as I know :/
