where the hell were you guys ? i only saw alec , malek and the new TA from ottawa , where was the rest ? i'm disappointed in you guys you missed one hell of a set , Marco was awesome as usual playing his fresh blend of trance and techno , flawless mixing (not ONE single mistake or trainwreck unlike other djs) and a great tracklist (he closed the night with the latest Hardcell track , you would have died RAUL !!!)

I didn't enjoy his set at all. Too hard. Not enough trance. I detected a couple of off beat matches but on the whole his mixing was pretty good.

Wow! What a set by Marco V! In my opinion it was just awesome! There was no track I didn't like. It was just a fantastic night - my second one at Aria. Two weeks ago I went there to see Sasha (who was also great, a pleasure after the in my opinion worst opening set I've ever heard). In comparison to Sasha's set the floor wasn't that crowdy this time. I enjoyed it because there was really more than enough space to move & dance.

Anyway, Marco V rocks and he was even better than the last time I saw him in Switzerland.

There was just one thing that was very bad. The sound was much too loud. I couldn't stay till the end of Marco's set because I had a terrible beeping in my ears...and it hasn't disappeared yet. Does anybody agree with me? When Sasha played music was not that loud.

Even if my ears hurt...I will miss Aria & the absolute fabulous crowd. I'll leave Montreal in 2 weeks and I don't think I have the chance to go to Aria again. It's one of the best clubs I've ever been to & I'll return. That's for sure...

BTW: Does anyone know the name of the track with the vocals "Activator, we need an activator..."? Marco V played it during the first hour of his set. Would be soooo nice to have the complete tracklist of his set...let's work on it.

thats' because Marco V wanted to play on the old pionneer mixer, and you can hear the difference!!

I know i missed a great night... but I was just too damn tired.
I went to bed at midnight and I slept till saturday afternoon...

man i so wanted to go, but books this semesters have set me back more then i expected. can't beleive i missed it tho. My favorite DJ out there right now. Im sure you guys all had a blast.

First of all, I was really into Yaz's set before Marco V came on. He setted the tempo a little downer, so it kinda broke what Yaz was working at, but at the same time, it saved us energy to dance until the end.

I cannot say I enjoyed Marco V as much as I did in August 2002 for those who were there...still, he played great tracks.
There was this track we've heard 2 times even more and I think Yaz dropped it too...it has been played a lot on razornet, I dont know the title but it always got peeps moving.

One word on the pro dancers: yumm! It was a great addition to the vibe and my props to the girls. They danced with so much intensity, and they did it in spite of the smoke and heat.
Yes, there was a CO2 smoke machine which was kinda cool.

And yes, I almost forgot to say that this was for me, the best lightning night I've been too. It's like the light person got advices or something, but it really blew me away!
Maybe the smoke helped to make light effects better.

So, in conclusion, lets say that Marco V's set + great dancers + incredible lightning (right use of stroboscope) = this was a great night.
