naw ...i dont think ...i think its maily Tiesto is a guy who changes witht he flow of trance....last few years Trance was in its Epic Phase ..with the Uplifting synths and melodies sequences....but 2001 is the start of a progressive period of trance...where trance in general is produced more progressive....so thats why i think hes more progressive now.....he doesnt really have a style he goes by....but rather then just go with the flow of trance

I'm not so sure if Tiesto is influenced by what people think, but I've seen DJ after DJ play a certain style, then change it after a certain amount of time...I think Tiesto is just enjoying a break from all the uplifting sounds, and occasionally throwing in something a bit more epic with more of his progressive sounds. Makes for a interesting mix anyway.

Tiesto is going progressive mostly in his cd's but on live sets in clubs he either adjusts himself to the audience or just playing his uplifting....
