btw...even if this law did not exist, our privacy laws are strict as heck...so getting an isp to give up the user identity is not easy. I'll take the music industry getting 70 million rather the idiotic RIAA suing people for no reason. Then again, I buy albums and will continue doing so for several years to come. Anyway, the CDN version of the RIAA is very weak and has like no power. Blame us, that's fine....I don't care.

Just make sure to get your new MP3 player before this levy is imposed to harshly

Seriously...how harsh can the tax be...an extra 10 bucks?...then again...i rather have that and the strong privacy laws than a group of lawyers...being paid by an industry group because they lost the mp3 war and are still losing it. CD sales continue to drop...faster than micheal jackson's career....i mean they had the oppt. in early 1997 to virtually control mp3's but passed on them.
