I have it, but I've never tried the older ones, so I can't compare. It is a sweetass program though, it'll hold me over till I get my hardware

I am a big fan of the Traktor series and from what I have read this update has a couple of new features. For starters, you can now alter pitch and tempo seperatly. So now it should be possible to strategically key tracks and create energy and tension, regardless of the tempo you match them at. Also it now has a waveform display of the entire track so that if you are not familiar with a new song you can get a quick idea of the builds and breaks just by looking at it.
Those new things are not really essential if you use Traktor as a suppliment to a larger bedroom DJ setup like I do. But they do seem like something fun to toy around with. I may go ahead and grab the demo from the Native Instruments site and try it out for a little bit, and I recommend that anybody else interested go ahead and do the same. If I think that the new features are head and shoulders above what is in 2.0 then I will probably buy it. And if they seem like something I can live without then I don't really see a need to spend 49 dollars.
