I was making a long drive the other day that was took about 2 hours and I was listening to some of my Trance cds. Some (if not all) trance songs have the ability of evoking some kind of vision in your head when you are relaxed. Some songs make you think of different kinds of scenery, places, situations, etc. I thought this would be an interesting topic as some people might be able to relate with what you feel/see when listening to a song. I'll post one that I got while listening to:

Flutlicht - Icarus (Daedalus Mix), with this song I feel as if flying full speed through clouds on a bright day, at least on the main part of the song.

Normally I vision myself playing a great tune at a big event, and then having a huge build up with fireworks and lighting, and watch everyone blow their minds in being at one of their best events in their life! That's what I see when I listen to an awesome tune.

It depends on the trance song for which vision you will get. If the song is really uplifting with huge buildups, I'll imagine myself at a huge festival dancing with thousands of others. If I listen to goa sometimes, I just invision myself flying through space (sounds cheesy but true). If I listen to Chicane, I always invision a big party on an Island (Ibiza or something) with the ocean and all. I could list many others since trance can give you so many beautiful visions.

I have no visions but it makes me feel happy , i must admit it . Some people get happy by taking drugs , me gets happy by listening to Trance

depends on what kind of drug im on. nah im just playin. i guess i picture myself dancing, or just chillin and hearing nothing but the music.

I picture myself standing on the tiptop of the world, and im sitting here swinging really bright red/white glowsticks, with 50ft cords, and red, and orange light is flying out of my fingertips and swirling around everywhere, and suddenly i find myself dancing w/ 1000's of people, and then right when the track goes ballistic, the world blows up, and leaves us to dance the night away,... and once in awhile, i picture this pretty girl that is really hot, all dressed in light blue silk, and she screams and collapses right at the high point of the song...

my mind is really imaginative i guess.

When I listen to Paul Van Dyk's Another Way I get the vision of looking at a view of the city (Sydney) from my bedroom window.


Any other trance track I get visions of colours like the above and beyond remix of fragma's Everytime you need me reminds of a sorta purple pinkish colour , and System F's Solstice reminds of the colour blue, Darude's Sandstorm reminds me of a orange colour,... lol.....

True visions of flight. Tracks like Tyrantanic from Breeder make me see Michael Jordan dunks in slow motion. Gracefull, and yet very powerfull at the same time. It's like jumping off a cliff and running in the sky. Corny, but that's the way I see trance.

Push - Universal Nation well vision of a rave and people having fun...... somethign like that i guess... but.......

Robert Miles - Children, makes me feel relaxxed and calm, and oceans n sea's n nature n stuff like that... nice thoughts

WOW, I was thinking of starting a thread like this, but couldnt come up with the Thread name .. !

Well, I can come up with many visions .. like for example Salt tank - Eugina 2000 , that track takes me to lets say IBIZA, at the beach, and is like IM with this girl that I like, and then where the chicks voice comes in the song, is when I kiss the girl , in the beach on the sunset, and on the back is some club with the song playing .. then Im like driving on a sport car through a highway next to the beach with her .. crazy.

Push - Strange world ( 2000 remake ) is like , a huge crowd, and in the back of the DJ playing you see like Lights and lasers, HUGE, then in the Peack of the song Fireworks on the back all over the place !!! and people just go nuts !

Blank and Jones - Cream and After love give me that feeling of like been with my friends , crusing around with the chicks, and heaving a fabulous time, something like in the cream video ..
I can keep going with the songs, but it would be an endless thing, all the classics, untauchable and beautifull trance songs have a scenary on my head .
