Resume`
This probably should be in the Chill Out forums, but I figured I'd give a go here...
Can anyone help me write a resume`? Never really written one. I'm applying for an internship at Ultra Records in the city, and I really really really really want to get it.
Any tips or hints would be much appreciated. Thanks...

1. keep it to one page
2. don't lie (embellishing is ok)
3. if your grades are better than your work experience put them above your experience
4. make sure your references are reliable
5. use a professional-sounding email address (i.e. avoid [email protected] and stuff like that)
6. Check for spelling/grammar mistakes
7. Write a kick-ass cover letter--which is far more trickier than a good resume
use lists instead of paragraphs. when i was hiring interns i would get really iritated at the ones who wrote their experience in 3 sentence paragraphs rather than giving me the informationin bullets.

a good resume should be concise, clear
free of any ambiguities, errors or omissions
it should convey specific strengths necessary
for the type of job you are applying
provide live examples of instances where you
took the initiative being both creative
and reliable executing related projects or
experiences
believe it or not the design is critical
to get the attention of the reader; second
will be your credentials, aptitude and
experience
good luck in your future interview!

Damn - alot of good tips here. No way in hell I would have come up with this stuff on my own. Thanks a million guys! I actually have an appointment with someone in school Friday, who's gonna help me out. But, I figured I'd give a try on my own first based on your tips...
Luna - if you could, that'd be real swell! I'll send you a copy when I'm done
