The track was first played already in May 2003, so think B&J were one of the first with this name!
Also the track has a story, Blank & Jones wrote them for the Nature One Festival where they always spin on friday evening, exactly at the time the "summer sun" goes down and the night comes up! And listening to the track at this moment was only great!!!!!
Dont know if the other songs also have a story?!

IMO, most of blank and jones's productions have hit a nasty turn around the time of desire. They have absolutely no melody. Honestly, can you compare nighfly or after love with vomit inducing shit like "the hardest part"? as for summer sun... 1/10!

I don't care when they first played it or if it has a skippy little story behind it, they decided to release it now and they should've re-named it!
btw, Pos - Remember (Summer Sun) came out in 2002. so in yo face

Hä?! Are your deaf? Summer Sun really is back to the rots! Same vocalist then in After Love and the synthies also are close to "The Nightfly" and melody is also cool! Okay "The Hardest Heart" was a bit weak but this here is the good old Blank & Jones style!

Naja I think it's nice if artists have at least a littel story for their tunes and explain why they call it so and not just gave it a name because the like the name and thats all. Also the track was already releaed, now it comes on a limited collectors 10" with a new remix. Also it's a bit stupid playing a half year a song, give it a name, pleople know it under this name and when it gets released it has another name. (Why do promote the track then with this name for a 1/2 year?) Remember the big mess up from "Ferry Corsten - Punk" think that is much more irretating then having a few songs with the same name !!!!!
