Play the incoming track until you hear a big change in the music (the bass drum starts, or does a big roll). Then hit Pause.

Now, move the jog wheel around a bit. You should hear a short sample of the track, repeated over and over. Hit "play" again.

Now your cue point is set, so while the track is playing, hit 'cue' and the CD will go back to where the cue point is, and pause.

Move the jog wheel about a bit while the song is cued, and you will change where the cue point is. After a couple of goes of hitting "Play, cue, movejogwheel", you should have the cue point set up right.

Now you're ready to drop the beat in at the right time (after setting the pitch, of course!) by hitting "play" when the outgoing track has a big change.

hth,
ben
