Trying to copy a preset by ear

Hey, well I got this prob, I made a song on FL demo so to record it I used a seperate recorder to have it in wav (fl demo doesn't let you save anything) now that I got Fl complete I'm interested in revamping the track, but I can't seem to get the right sound, I used the Ts404 and panzer delay I've played with it allot but can't seem to get the right sound... any tips?

look around at the presets in FL...if you got the original from the demo, then the full version must have it somewhere. If that's not enough, post up a sample and we'll see if we can't get it working in another synth.
alot of times you might also find that it's the effects that make the sound rather than the plugin or synth settings.

what synth did you make it in? the ts404 or the 3osc or what? this could be any synth...

but from my judgement... it's prolly a 2 or 3 osc sawtooth with very quick attack and very quick release, almost no hold, and all the standard effects.. being... reever, delay, 7-band/paramteric EQ, and maybe some flange. it's a shot in the dark, but try using the 3osc with 2 sawtooths and 1 squarewave, or maybe a round square. semi-tone all of them and mess around with the fine dials on each. you'll eventually find something close. make sure you're running your tests through the trancey EQ, otherwise, you won't hear it right.

I made it with the TS404 and as I remember I only tweaked the ocilator area and the filter area, just panzer delay and reberb no equing of any kind or any other fx...that wa my 3rd track....
