imagine a US company, administrated by a canadian guy, delivering trance via a webradio server hosted in sweden. which laws apply ? 
anyway, good luck finding cheap bandwith.. we're talking about terabytes here.
for example, here's some razernet.com stats;
One of ZinG's set lasted ~100 minutes and weighted approximately 100mo of upcoming transfer (128kpbs, 44hz, Stereo) This means 2go of total transfer for only 19 listeners.
An average of 20 listeners connected on a 24/7 radio during 30 days will suck up ~900go of transfer.
that's why di.fm isnt offering the 128kbps stream for free anymore.
