Cubase or else ? please advice here!

I'm starting to use Cubase SX and the program is very not user friendly in contrast to impulse tracker , buzz and frutiy loops that i already mastered.

I'm having trouble to express myself with it and be artistic.
Is it only because I'm a newbie at it? does the pro's use cubase?
Please advice and recommend other programs if you belive I should use them.

Thanks ,

/me and my friend.

Cubase has a pretty steep learning curve, but it's possibilities are pretty much limitless - especially SX. And yes, many pros use it... In fact, it has kind of been the industry standard sequencer for electronic music since it came out.

<-------------------- using cubase since the days of Atari 1040st systems...

If you really have "mastered" Buzz then the last thing you need to do is change to something else.

No offense, but if you couldn't answer that question for yourself then you've come nowhere near "mastering" buzz =P

Buzz has had flawless integration with every VSTi I've ever tried to use.

Fair enough; this recent version of Polac VSTi loader just came out like 4 months ago, so flawless integration hasn't always been the norm.

No fl is based on MIDI and not Audio
The problem with buzz is that is sound engine is not as good as cubase...

Cubase has the steepest learning curve - I have been mucking with it for about a year now and the only thing that is really keeping me with it is the fact that I actually paid for the damn thing and feel I shouldn't waste my hard earned cash away. But true - it sucks when interface is not intuitive and has 100000000 + you have to click to get to the point.

I also hate the way Cubase sorts files and loops automatically - that is so stupid.

I actually posted a topic: Cubase vs Sonar... didn't see yours.
