this just tops it off. the whole womanizing and no idea on how to fix the budget besides cutting taxes for business even more is enough for me not to vote for him.

Arrrrrgh I wish I could vote in this election. And honestly, it amazes me that so many who could, don't and won't.

I also feel the same way about people not voting. Why can't you if you live in Palo Alto? Beautiful town that is.
Although I have no direct comment on this story itself, nor an opinion on the who's and why's of the California Election since I'm not from that screwed up state (and yes my state is screwed up just as much in a different way), did you guys happen to file through all this guys writings/opinions? True or not, they are all very one sided, in cases "extremely" negative and more seemingly opinionated vs. founded on coroberated evidence. It's even sarcastic sounding in a lot of cases. Although he seems to try and make it look more factual than opinionated, some of his sources are quite vauge ("I just got theses 10 pages from a friend over the fax machine", must be true then). Look, Even I agree with some of his articles...if it fits in line with what I already believe, or found other similar articles about such topics.
It's just seems quite typical of people round these parts to think that writings like these are the words of God himself and run with them as it is the Truths above all Truths. I find it funny how people are so EASILY pursuaded to believe what a news reporter writes....ESPECIALLY if it is in line with their already current beliefs. I am a fault of this as well sometimes.
Next, I'm going to hear that any voter that touched a girl when they were in grade school and got coodies 20-30 years ago will be unable to vote in the upcoming election and that criminal attourneys are going to go after you and make you make up the time in Juvie hall that you missed back in 1983. It's getting to be quite a circus for the people outside of CA to watch this go down...it's really quite entertaining.
I'll wait to see if anything shakes out of this (i.e. a response/more stories/facts) before I judge this...just like other articles.
Good luck

PhloTron I agree that it is odd that he got those documents faxed, but this meeting did take place. Arnold, and Riordan have not deny nor discussed what the meeting was about. enron did rip us off, and we are trying to get our money back. bush's administration did nothing to help us, and chaney laughed at us for even thinking we could conserve energy. so Palast write up may be coincidence or it may just be the truth.

Well the thing with arnold is that he is running for governor. his womanizing isnt only 30 years back, but as late as of 2000. More are coming forward including a local radio host who did an interview with him in the late 70s when she was in her 20s

hmm... if greg palasts sources are true, then were fucked.

It's not what Arnold Schwarzenegger did to the girls a decade back that should raise an eyebrow._ According to a series of memoranda our office obtained today, it's his dalliance with the boys in a hotel room just two years ago that's the real scandal.
maybe its just me, but this paragraph made me think that this story was going to lead into another old man raping little boys incedent. thankfully, it didnt.

- Sorry to you californians, but if people dont go out and vote.. and Arnold gets elected, then, I hope all those that didnt go and vote suffer for that.. and learned a big time lesson.. I whish aronld wins so he could burn hismelf more then Bush now.. Im sorry for those that are against him in California, but you seem to be the few that are willing to go out and vote. Like 5% of people were for Hullignton, but my fear is that since they were all under the 30 yrs range, they wont even bother going out and vote since she's not running.. but eitherway, sucks..

Still, I think a little economical chaos is a fair price to pay for a buff governer with a strong austrian accent. Not to mention how great his movies are and how many women he had laid. I'd vote for him any day!
