I don't believe it's the "quality samples" that makes a song sound less digital.
It is to do with how you arrange the percussion, how the synths sounds, the structure of the melody, etc...
Also, I believe that the ONLY thing that you should use samples are for percussion and drums. I say this because most fx can be made by using synths, filters, whitenoise, etc... and well synths, if you don't know how to make your own synths w/out using presets or samples, then you really shouldn't be a world class producer...
The quality of the samples has nothing to do with how good your track is going to sound... it's how you put them together that counts...
With that said, trance isn't supposed to sound "real" anyways... However if you are trying to achieve a "real" sound then the best way is by use of some reverb at the right places and filters and eq's.. although not too much...
If you want to make more "real" sounding music, you shouldn't really be producing trance... maybe ambient or house or something...
