if its sloww grooving type trance u want to have a look at something by Sasha &/or Darren Emmerson (e.g. scorchio, nice groove to it!) or Resistance D coz they do cool stuff aswell. The smooth groove shit in that tune u heard was the sasha influence, BT does mostly uplifting and bangin trance when he on his own.

If its a combination of energy-packed tune and slowish stuff u want, just look at any Timo Maas playlist really!

On the other hand, if chilled kinda trance that just flows thru u like something creamy, James Holden is ur man. I recommend Horizons, Pacific as tunes, and any remix u can find of his is worth the download/dollar!

actually - i have never really enjoyed the slowish groove stuff. i have REALLY gotten into the sasha ibiza GU disc, and that probably helps. that is by far one of the best electronic cds. i hesitate to say a great trance cd, cause it has so many styles on it - transforming from house to trance to breakbeat/trance(bt) back to progressive sick shit.

I'm not really into BT. A few days ago I downloaded his essential mix live from Washington and I really hated it. I guess it's just not my style. I do like tracks like Godspeed and Mercury and Solace though...

I actually really like BT - he isnt the live mix kinda guy tho - since he doesnt DJ. His shows are great tho cause he has a special light display and 3 or 4 keyboards setup that he beats to death. heehee. peace.
