Be Cool! Studying abroad- UK, USA

Hey guys.
and girls..
Im planning to study somewhere outside of this shitty place called Austria hehe..anyway..
can u tell me a bit about american/british college life. What subject did u get, how high is the level, how are foreigners integrated, names of the best/ most fun colleges/unis...

donno, i have this picture of beach and hot girls and chelsea clinton! in my mind when thinking of studying in stanford for example..or of a bunch of wee-smoking hippies, or other prejudices such as snobbish arrogant arseholes in ivy leage unis like harvard..hm..well?
tell me everything u got to say about it- por favor

Education-wise I think you'd be better off in America.
But saying that...you KNOW where the best parties are gonna be

Trancegiant....I was friends with some exchange students from Bulgaria while I was in college and some friends and I were suite mates with them our sophomore year. There was a lil bit of a language barrier but other then that they were awesome peeps. Intergation is pretty smooth unless the exchange students decided to only hang out with students from their own country...at my college we had a large population of Bulgarian students...some only spoke to Bulgarians while other would hang out with anyone. Everyone at my college was real accepting of exchange students. I would say definetely look into studying here. If anything it would be a great experience to emerse (m.s.?) yourself in another culture...and sometimes that is more educational then all the books in the world!

if you want good and cheap education, come to canada, however if you're doing a masters or a ph d go to states
there are tons of xchange students at the school that i go to, and we're the best in canada too =)
we dont have many trance parties, but we do have a few big ones now and then. we've got nice weather, better than in england anyways lol, if you go high enough into the mountains, you can ski/snowboard in the summer, nice view, nice mountains, nice lakes/rivers/ocean, cute guys, and of course, as was pointed out in another thread, we've got the best weed here on the west coast
