Hey, we did have a few threads about this.

Here goes:

FireBurner - Good, small profram that allows you to load up pre-made cue sheets to complete mixes. only catch is that only some bueners are compatible.

WinCDW(or something) - Another great program that allows you to load up cue sheets. Again though, only some burners are compatible.

Nero - I use this. Great Program that is pretty much compatible with anything. Newer versions allow you to split complete mixes into track and reconnect without pauses. A little longer to do but works.

I think everyone here uses FB or WinCDR(sp?), but it's up to you. If you need Nero, I have version 5.5.2.4. just PM me and I'll email it to you.

For sure...But it's not totally user friendly for Cue files.

I'm pretty sure you can't use cue file either, unless someone out there knows. You can use the times in a cue file to spilt the mix into individual tracks, then in the main menu you remove the 2 second pauses. Leaving you a complete mix with tracks cued at their times. It's a little longer then just loading a cue file, but works.

Nero's great, and i think you can prevent it from doing 2 second pauses, cept for the first track it's in the options somewhere i think.

If you really want you can get a CD Burning plugin for Sound forge which is great.

Does anyone know of an mp3 encoder that doesn't add little bits of silence to the begining of a file? IT seems that depending on the encoder when i turn the file back to a WAV and thus when it's played back, a silence of between 15 and 35 miliseconds (encoder dependant) appears. It's too small to chop off with MP3 cutter, and it prevents me creating seperate mp3 files that play seamlesly with any gap remover plugin. Better still anyone know a gap remover plugin that you can adjust by the millisecond? that way i won't have to rencode everything, i'll just tell it to offset by the 17 milliseconds that my Fraunhoffer adds at the start and everything will play fine.

Yup when it comes to CD Burning software you can't go wrong with Nero Bruning Rom

I use it all the time, knocks the stuffing out of the lieks of Hot Burn (which isn't bad either) and Adaptec (rubbish)
