Did you ever wonder if maybe your religion is wrong and that you might be reincarnated as a rock or something for not following the expectations of the true religion. Or maybe religion is just a way for us to appreciate life, set rules and respect eachother and maybe God will judge us all the same. Thoughts?

my belief:
no religion is correct. as ppl born into a certain religion would be fucked as they'd not be in with a chance to get into heaven. I reckon that if u have faith in ur religion and follow the rules then you'll be judged on that.
but i also think that religion is just another way to keep people abiding by a few rules. like, i'll be good because i'm afraid that if i dont i'll be punished in the afterlife. not that i'm afraid of hurting somebody or stealing somebody's bread..
i dunno.. complicated stuff.. we'll find out when we die (maybe not)
it'd really suck though if there was nothing to look forward to!

Thats my point exactly, that if you don't follow the correct religion that you might not get into heaven/be reincarnated, etc.
I believe that religions are different interpretations of the basic rules of life. Religions are like a books, written by different authors, all talking about the same subject with the same basic principles (ie. the golden rule) but going about them in a different fashion.

Well people dont get along with eachother today, think how it was 2000 years ago when most of the current religions began Someone didnt like how one was run so he went and formed his own religion, based on what he thought was right.
Religion was a good way to learn people about the basic rules. How do you convince people not to do something or to do something. If you just stood up on a rock and yelled at them to do it they would probably kick your ass. But say to them that god told them to do it and they just might listen to you.
Anyway since i dont belive that god exists i dont think that any religion is right and that any religion is wrong.

Don't worry about it, just stay true to your faith if you follow a certain religion.
If you're unsure, maybe you should be considering a new religion, or no religion at all. No sense in practicing something you're not 100% committed to.

even though i dont follow this, i do believe that faith is very powerful. i dont beleive that a higher power is helping you or whatever but i do beleive that if you have faith in something it will turn out ok.
