i aint voting coz there aint options for cross-overs... a lot of the tunes we hear fall into more than one genre... 643 is sorta progressive tech-trance type stuff..

peace

I put I don't care cause I really dont...hehe Not like you care that I don't care.....but anyway...If I really had to make a decision I would call it tech trance, cause it really does sound like Picotto made it..... (the orignal version)

i'll stick with my view..
as posted in other thread..
but its not full on tech-trance..
tech trance.. picotto is hard end of tech trance..
steve lawler reaches the other end..
flight 643 is not tech trance in ma book. it may have some elements of it.. but to say that its 1 particular genre would be ..... bad..

Satan (eek!)

Everyone who thinks its Progressive can't even explain to me why or how it is! I have repeatedly explained why it's NOT progressive.

For the 3,459,020 time WHAT MAKES IT PROGRESSIVE?

Someone answer my question please.

Honestly, we All know its not Epic, so for a lack of another term or genre... its "Progressive".

i explained it to u
if u think thats progressive.. there are a million other so-called 'progressive' tracks out there..
bill hamel - perspectives, oliver klein - rheinkraft... the list goes on
7:30-8minutes.. is progression..
the whole song is progression
i told u in the other thread..
if u really want to be anal, then u break the song into its layers.. and i can guarantee u that there are more and more layers as you go into the song..
if u dispute that.. then u don't know bugger all..
it definitely isn't tech-trance..
and knowin u.. u'll probably bring up some full on progressive track and compare it to a full on tech-trance track...
flight 643 is evidently lying in between..
but it is NOT monotonous.. there are rhythms which are monotonous..
but it doesn't even follow the rules of techno.. neither detroit nor german techno.. it doesn't follow the same bar structure, it doesn't follow the same BPM, it doesn't even SOUND like it...
what more do u want as an argument..
flight 643 is about as tech-trance, as... Fragma is Happy Hardcore..
maybe an exageration..
but flight 643 DOES Progress.. it may not sound like it for most of the song.. but i guess u aren't listenin closely enough..
i'm not arguing its 100% progressive..
but its definitely not tech-trance..
possibly in between... or if ya relly want.. MAKE A NEW GENRE DAMMIT..
PROGRESSIVE TECHNO....
HOW IS THAT HUH!?
geez
