My headphones are making a loud screeching sound whenever they are turned up. the speakers are not doing it and it's not a buzzing sound, it is a high pitch sound. I checked every connection no change...........i searched the forum and the only thing that i found was that it may be a cell phone....is that possible??......could the headphones be broke?? or is it the mixer?? anyway, any suggestions or opinions are appreciated.......thankx

what model and brand are they? they may not be designed for that sound level (i don't understand needing them that lound. they make isolator phones after all) or the headphones are just underpowered. what is the output on the jack your using?
