The Best Needles

So, I bought a pair of Trackmaster II last week and I have to say they suck. I went out and bought a set of the brand new SHURE WHITELABELS and I have to say the best needles money can buy has to be these. At $109.00 each includes tool kit and it has a wieght adjustment on the stylus. Superior sound. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE NEEDLES. They are fairly very new to the DJ world.

Does any body else use these?
If not what do you use / recommend?

I have these needles, but since they are my first, I have nothing to compare them too. I am very happy with the sound quality, look and performance of the needle though! They are quite expensive though!

I've only used several Ortofon's, Numarks, and Stantons and would have to say that the M44-7's are the best, as they rarely skip and use quite little tracking force. At least for me. Haven't tried the Whitelabels yet but the M44-7's have been around for many many years. True dat.

I saw these come out at the beginning of the year, they look very very nice and supposedly have the best sound performance around.

I wouldn't mind a pair but that will set me back £200!

Believe me dude, you WON'T need to buy any other cartridge as long as you DJ. WhiteLabels are THE BEST on the Market. They make ortofon nightclubs or Pro DJ S perform like a Yugo where as WhiteLabels perform like a BMW. I had Ortofon Pro DJ S Concordes and I wont' even keep them as my back ups, anyone wanna buy 'em? When I put my whitelabels on, I almost had to take the counter weight off the tone arm, very impressive, then I took them to a club where I spun, and then I confirmed to myself that I bought the best cartridges out there period. Incidently, so was the blub owner, he got rid off, light and record skipping ortofon nightclubs and purchased two pairs of Shure White Labels. Any1 wants a pair at a good price, email me and I'll tell you where to get them. [email protected]. Cheers!

If you use a deck with a old needle, can it damage your records?
I'm just starting to collect vinyls, and I have an old sony turtable (like early 90s). I'm hoping it won't damage my records if I play them on that until I can get a better table/needle. How often should you change the needle/??

Thanks,
David

p.s. Also how many times can U typically spin a record before it gets "worn out?"
