a shrink?

the one i saw was worthless so i stopped going. honestly, i've gotten better advice from TAs and friends than what that idiot told me.

I guess there are good and bad ones, and shrinks who are more or less compatible with you and your problems....

yes exactly. this one wasnt for me. and i didnt have the time and money to go looking for a new one. plus i was depressed at the time and going at all was such a chore that looking for an adequate person was just too much to deal with.

yeah i am definitely crazy in some ways but i am ok with that.

i still go. doesnt help tho. i think talking to people online or friends is always better then talking to a stranger bout my problems. the reason i still go is cus my mum makes me, even tho its her being an alcoholic that makes me miserable.

seriously, i think TA therapy is some of the most valuable advice i have recieved.

it all depends on who you go to.
theres some really great intelligent ones out there
then there are retarded ones who have personal agendas
and then there are ones that just don't have hte personality or the openness ot fit with you
