Last time I checked it was www.tranceaddict.com. I love my trance man, layered, heavy, melodic, vocal and a feeling of taking a journey. House just doesn't cut if for me. However I also think that they are two completely diff styles of music and art should not really be compared to another anyways, right? =)) (always stirring shit*)

I would say I like trance much more than house but I still like house (NOT hard house though). I think house is better 'party music' than trance...just music you can dance to. Trance has a lot more substance than house and therefore its better to just listen to. Trance is cool to dance to also. I love trance but I will always listen to house as well.

HOUSE SUCKS!

I personally hate house... Some of the progressive house, like sandstorm is `acceptable once in a while', but shit nonetheless.

I also hate when people group house/trance together... As in `I can't tell the difference, they both have the same beat...' This is true, but trance has a lot more than just a beat, and the beat isn't the main focus....

The thing that really bugs me about house though, is that a lot of it sounds like it's about to be trance... But then isn't... (As a lot of trance has some housey-parts, without music, just beat....)

Anyway, that's my thoughts.

Trance and House are totally different

House is more bass-line and beat

Trance is more synths, ambience

I love both, but I like Trance better.

I love EPIC TRANCE.
I frequently, though not always, enjoy UPLIFTING TRANCE.
On occasion I dig HARD HOUSE / NRG.
But I doubt I'll ever dig PROGRESSIVE HOUSE... I'm sorry...

I'm REALLY getting into UK Hard House nu/hi-nrg trax. Stuff from Tidy Trax, Nukleuz, Lobster Licks exc are all good! You guys need to be less close minded with what you listen to. There's always new stuff to listen to. Honestly I used to be a full throttle trancEaddict, but now since i've started listening to Mauro Picotto's hard house stuff, i've started listeining to Tony De Vit, BK, Andy Farley, Lisa Pin-up and Lisa Lashes. Its all good stuff! I am still a trance addict, but i'm also very into hard house. Heres a good new track: E-Trax - Lets Rock (BK's Nukleuz Remix)its off of tidy trax (www.tidytrax.co.uk). That track is for anyone whose open minded enough to listen to something new. Dont go off ranting about how out of whack I am for listening to hardhouse more than trance
