To answer Morbius, my offical title is Wafer Fab Tech Specialist. Basically I oversee production in my area and work with Engineers and Maintenance to insure maxium wafer output (the chips/cpu are made out of silicon wafers if you didn't know). Nothing too glamorous, but it is a fun and exciting job. To answer Aviston, I don't know all the details of sledgehammer yet, I'm not too concerned with MS. If Intel and us make 64bit processors in high volume then MS will have to jump on board with some O/S. But, again I'm not in the info loop, I am more on the production side (volume of devices, speeds, yields). I can tell you that if you think 1.2 gig is fast, just wait. In 2001, the Duron will be the Celeron and PIII killer with low prices and super speeds and large cache. The Palomino, second generation Athlon, will set the speed standard for Q3 and Q4 of 2001. Well, I have probably said too much and now I will get fired. Okay, no more tech talk I get enough at work. Anyone got the advance of Armin Van Buuren 002 yet??? If so will you share???
