yes this is possible... i have my computer hooked up to my mixer and it works fine.
just find the line out (main output) on the back of your sound card and plug it into one of the line-in ports on the back of your mixer.

also, if your soundcard supports 4 channel or 5.1 it's even easier.
I own Traktor 2 and in the options you can select external mixer. Then all you have to do is connect the front output to one of your line inputs and the rear output to another and bingo, you have 2 extra turntables.
I use this all the time when I am trying out new songs before I buy them, or to try out some kind of new technique and I don't necessarily have the proper song for it.
