Talking George Acosta

I've known little about this great South Florida DJ up until this September. I remember a while back he did Trance Nation 2, which didn't catch on me. Recently I got a hold on some on his livesets @ The Lost World, which are fantastic, I'd say! Also I got Release PM Edition CD, which is fabulous!!! Anyone around here likes George Acosta, cause I haven't noticed anyone mention him in the forums - VERY UNDERRATED DJ WITH LOTS OF TALENT AND GREAT MUSIC! What do you TAs think?

As far as I can tell Acosta is in it for the money and fame. He churns out mix compilations with the same old blend of uplifting anthems, with no personal style or innovation, and complains about not being put higher up on event lineups.

Oh, I see what the fuss is all about ... he is still a fine DJ. You'd have to admit that he's not the only DJ in it for the money ... so far I noticed that he has great mixing skills, fine track selections and a definite pattern of music. That is, he is not like all the DJs out there. ... right?

I think that he is ok. Some of his GDJB are good, others not so good. He is overall just ok, nothing special, IMO.
