The Official 2003 TUNE OF THE YEAR voting thread
Last year the voting system took 5 months to have the final results for the Tune of The Year. Well this year we’ll have the results within the first week of 2004 and we’ll have preliminary results each week from now.
It’s a little early and actually the results would be the same as using polls and stages, but with this new system the voting will be more flexible and results will be 100x faster.
You just have to follow these simple
RULES:
1. Vote for 5 (five) songs you consider the best of the year (2003), listing them in preference order.
2. If it was made this year you can still vote for a tune you heard on an album/liveset and hasn't been released as a single yet.
3. Vote only ONCE (unless you want to change your vote).
4. If you wish to change your vote, please DO NOT edit your post. Just reply again stating you are changing your vote, with your new vote.
5. You can change your vote only ONCE.
6. Put the complete name of the song and remix.
For Example:
Major League vs System F – This is Trance (Paul Van Dyk remake)
instead of
ML vs SF – TIT (PVD rmx)
- This is a voting thread, so please avoid any kind of Flame war, please.
- This is tranceaddict.com so you know which genre of tunes you have to vote for.
- If you don’t follow all the rules above, your vote won’t be counted.
VOTING SYSTEM:
We’ll use the TM Voting System which consists in:
The first nomination gets 5 points and the next ones will get exactly one point less each time, this resulting in a statistically fair (and really tight) system.
1. 5 points
2. 4 points
3. 3 points
4. 2 points
5. 1 point
Voting will close at 23:59 (GMT) December 31 2003.
EXAMPLE
1. Intimo - Retention
2. Jose Amnesia - The Eternal
3. Tranquility Base - Razorfish (Above & Beyond Bangin Mix)
4. Pulser - Cloudwalking
5. Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Insigma Mix)
Yes this songs are not 2003, it's just an example.
There's no need to put (Original Mix) if it is the case.
