600 does, 500 doesn't. you should learn to beatmatch without using the split cue. you'll be much better prepared to enter an unknown club and start spinning.
iv played with these mixers a couple of times and iv noticed that when you turn the bass down on the EQ thats also what you hear in the headphones, that sucks. how do turn that off. i dont want the EQ to effect what i hear in the headphones.
you should learn to adapt to all kinds of setups
try not to get stuck on one way to mix
because it's not certain that the setup you're used to playing with is going to be available at the venue
i've played on everything from having the decks and mixer on a wobbly card table under a bridge with no monitors to a full setup with a djm 600 and eons right beside my ears

why would you want to? this is a "feature" on some lower grade mixers (ie vestax PCV175), but really, it's a handicap.
if you can't hear the EQ changes in the cans, then how can you know how good it's going to sound before putting it out live?
i like to get hammered and stoned before i spin, it loosens me up and makes me more creative and willing to try things which in turn makes for a better set
and to be honest, i don't think i can spin sober anymore...
even while spinning at home, i'll spark up a joint or 5 while spinning
