Why is that, anytime im goin to some stupid electronica chat room on msn or yahoo, drum and bass fans allways bashing on people who likes trance or techno.

They call people, " Druugies" who likes anything besides drum and bass.
Im so sick of it. I do believe , drum and bass heads do k-hole and candyflip.

Stereotype people , thats what they are. I used to like d&b untill this whole, "TRancers and Techno geaks are drugies." So i lost a lot of respect about drum and bass, even some drum and bass djs hate on us. It start look like when rappers and metal heads fight over music.

I've never witnessed this bigotry in chatrooms, but some of my (Ex) Friends who where into DnB used to tell me that shit.I got tired of it also.I mean I Like Dnb,Jungle,Techstep etc... as much as the next guy(or Girl )but I dont go around hatin. I hate to break it to 'em but most of them got pulled into this world the same way i did...Oakey,Sasha,Digweed,Ferry,Van Dyk,Timo, etc...I could go on for days....Ok now im frustrated

I think every type of music is good, but nobody can like just that certain kind of music.

Yeah, it does suck a bit, especially as they also do drugs and stuff. Not all of them, obviously, but the same can be said for TA's. All it comes down to is whether or not people tar everyone with the same steryotypical brush.

I know what you mean. I always use to post at junglescene.com but got tired of the haters. So much to the point that I stopped going to drum 'n' bass events. I made the point at one time that you don't see people on trance forums hatin' junglist only to be put down. Some constantly slam people for taking drugs and then turn around and brag about how much drugs they take Look at the photo section at junglescene. Just people standing around at clubs. Virtually every jungle event I've gone to, people just stand around. I think they are jealous of people who can dance. Its too bad because I love jungle.

dnb was my gateway genre into edm. most junglists are stupid anyways, and I did way more drugs at jungle parties than anywhere else, so whatever. then again those parties with Andy C and co. were always at exotic caves and tunnels. I miss the good ol' days

Its too bad people can't appreciate all genres of music. There are many out there that do. Thats just the way it goes.

Same goes for Intelligent Techno and Heavy Electronica ppl

There are more than plenty of trancers who take an equally elitist attitude towards other music genres. for example, what would happen if i started a hip hop thread??

i was just at a dnb party on saturday [ nov 8th. ] and there were fucking tons of people smoking hasheesh [ like me ], dropping K [ like me ], doing nitrous [ not like me ]. they dont like us because most trance artists are not making trance in the right fashion, unlike chicane where that is pure trance. but whatever, i love trance for what it is, even if it is not PURE TRANce, i just love the music, i love drum n bass ya i dont talk about trance when at a d n b party because i'll get my ass kicked because their very into jungle. im not going to do drugs anymore because that was my first time doing it. seeing those nitrous heads killing themselves so fast is so dumb, thats what drugs do. but whatever i still had fun, but im cramping because i drank to much redbull

Used to be able to listen to DnB, but now I find it pretty boring as it all sounds the same.

Most DnB heads are faily elitest in their likings of DnB and dislikings in other types of music.

As far as drug use goes most of the people I know who love their DnB also love their crystal meth, and meth is not the most sociable of drugs at the best of times

Hence why the DnB lot are unfreindly and paranoid most of the time...
