it's not too great.. but gives a good idea of what the basic mechanics of scratching are...

i think there's also a scratch tutorial video designed by DJ Q-bert?

for scratch samples.. you should check out the DJ Rectangle Ultimate Battle Weapon series.. which are pretty popular..

If you love your vinyl, you'll forget about the scratching. Scratching will tear up your records faster than anything (not to mention how annoying scratching is ...but that's just a personal opinion)
