Sorry dude, Guvernment sucks ass. I'm never going again... I got $40 teefed out my wallet by the security guards, ppl are coked up on insane amounts of drugs, and there's gino's galore. It's only good music if there's a featured DJ or something - I personally dont like Mark Oliver... Anyways, I'd go to a smaller more underground place if you're going alone (Area51,Metropolis)

The only time I've had a blast at the Guv was when I went with a big friendly group of people. It's NOT the place to go on your own. You're unlikely to meet people, not a friendly place. I don't know if Mark Oliver is still spinning there Saturdays. Is he? Maybe it was just an urban myth.

There are other places to try in Toronto...System, Turbo for biggish venues...Area 51, Club E28 for smaller, underground vibes.
