Is Logic Audio more like Reason or Fruity Loops or Cool Edit?

And what do U, which one is better Logic Gold or Platinum for making trance songs?

Platinum is your best choice but the trance part is most dependant on You/The Softsynths you choose/Hardware Synths you choose.

Cool Edit is mostly used as a wav editor it's not really a sequencer. But anything can be used to sequence if you're able to figure out how. It just wouldn't be the most logical decision nowadays to use Cool Edit for sequencing when there are so many other options such as Logic/Cubase/Reason/FL Studio.....

I find the Trance part funny, Slipknot could use the same equipment as a trance producer so it doesnt really matter.

like Phantax said, Logic is nothing like reason or fruity really, I recomend fruity first then maybe when your used to the lingo, bits and bobs Cubase SX or even logic.
