Chilled out Classical beats. Sarah Brightman, Delerium, Bond

with the market today being flooded by so many "samey" chilled out compilations, it's nice to have a change in pace for more listenable chilled out tunes.

i myself like sarah brightman. la lune, eden, and harem are my fav albums from her. sure she is considered classical but her songs are more trance influence than any other classical artist. i don't like classical stuff like say the ones they have in operas or gala events and stuff like that. it has to have some beat to it and have more substance and less old age classical and more new age. don't even mention john tesh or yanni or any other crap like them. i stay away from that.
i also like bond (4 string quartet). hot young women. considered classical but more modern. i'm sure you have heard of them before.
and then there are artist like delerium and enigma that djs all over the world remix their stuff cause even though they are chilled out, they have very tolerable tunes that alot can like.
i also am into clannad but some of their stuff are too old sounding. i don't know how to explain it.

anyways, i would like to get into more artist or songs that are pretty much similar to these artists. oh i also like IVY especially edge of the ocean

Hmm... don't know too many of those groups except Delerium and Sarah Mclachlan maybe... Have you checked out these compilations?

Chilled-Out Euphoria :: Mixed by Solar Stone (2 CDs)
Deeper Shades of Euphoria :: Mixed by Jay Burnett (2 CDs)
Global Underground 24 :: Mixed by Nick Warren (2 CDs)

Not your usual chillout compilations, the first one is more ambient, the next 2 are very chill and relaxing trance/progressive tracks. Very nice, smooth, and well mixed.
