i was surfin the web for upcoming events in miami/ft.lauderdale at www.club-space.com and there is a big party going on Saturday, Aug. 11 called Mekka. anyway, it looks like there's gonna be some pretty good dj's there. Oakey, BT, Edgar V. Bunny from Rabbit in the Moon, Christopher Lawrence, Mistress Barbara...anyway, u get the point. go to the club space website and a window automatically pops up advertising it. it is going to be 18 and up...i already emailed one of the directors to double check that and he said it is def. 18+...so i was just wondering if any of u miami TA's are gonna be there. and if so, let's get together. i will be going with my bf (Mrx)....the only people i know that are in miami are starfox and tigerclaw....anyone else wanna meet up and go? it's gonna be like a big ass block party. should be fun. also, even though the guy said it's 18 and up...if it's gonna be a block party, i don't see how they are going to enforce the age limit there...so if ur not 18..i'd still at least go there and see what's up.

Are you sure its 18 + ?!?! Cause in the Mekka tour site it says 16 + !!!!!!!!!! and thats how the tickets are also sold, I asked and so on ... and they've all told me its 16 + , will ask once again to make sure if they changed it to 18 + .

cool, i didn't realize Mekka was this popular event, i thought it was just a big party goin on...didn't realize it goes on every year. anyway, ur probably right about the 16+...i basically was just asking the guy (actualy my bf emailed the dude) and just was asking if it was 21+ and the guy wrote back and said 18+...but he might be misinformed..i dunno. but like i said, it's this big block party aside from being inside club space from what the guy said, so i don't think it's gonna be a big deal. anyway, i would go by the official mekka website info u were talkin about. it's probably 16. btw, how old r u? u gonna go? i can't wait to see Edgar V. and oakey...hopefully get some good pics and autographs

My hopes are on going to the festival, and yes, its a block party kind of thing ..
IM 16, will be 17 2 days after the party ( the 13th ) .
I want to really see Paul Oakey, Edgar V, Lawrence, Ariel Bound , and whoever in there spinns trance .. one question , Ivanno Bellini released a CD called tranceaddiction on 99 or 00 .. around there, and his sound was pretty much trance , hard trance ... but why is he now labeled under House and Techno ?!?! to those that go clubbing .. did he change his sound ?!?!
Anyways ... Not that big of event, just a big party been held there, but still a should not missed by TA's in South FL
