**Hi there!
I use the Mp3 cutter v2.0, cutting them into individual tracks. Then after converting the Mp3's to Wave's, I do a 'disc-at-once' session with my CD-burner. The result is one long mix, uninterrupted, but I can skip from song to song. Works great for me, good luck!

What I do....

Since CDR-Win ( a cd recording program ) and FireBurner have problems recognizing my cd-rw drive, I use a mix of programs.

First, I use FireBurner ( www.fireburner.com ) and load a cue file into the program. You might want to look for tutorials on how to make a cue file online.

Then, I save all the tracks as seperate files. This can be done in fireburner, which is pretty neat.

After that, I use Nero to burn the cd... the first track must have a 2 second pregap, all the rest can have a 0 second pregap.

Confused even more aren't ya?

well there is an easier way to do this:
go to www.feurio.de and dl the english version (or the one you need). The trial version is fully functional, try not to crack it, it will fuck up the program and there is no need.
feurio lets you load your big wav into your new project. You can open the "track-editor" and listen to your mix. When you found a spot where you want a new track to start, you hit the "split track (linked)" button...easy as that.
Now you can enter CD text for the trakcs, normalize the volume and so on.
great prog!

I use Feurio to burn the CD, but I find that the cue points are fairly inaccurate in it's track editor. A much better program for creating the cue file is CDRCue from www.dcsoft.com. This lets you edit the cue point down to the nearest frame, where one frame is equivalent to 1/75 of a second.

Burning the CD from Feurio is then a simple matter of going to Project, select Create Project From Cuesheet, select the cuesheet you have created, and then click on Burn.

PasteyMoFo, I also had this problem with progs not recognising my burner. I have a Creative Blaster 12x10x32, which I think is relatively new (I only got it last Tuesday!). If you use Feurio it will let you ignore the fact that it doesn't recognise the drive as a CD-RW and select the one that looks closest to it. It is a fairly safe bet that if you select it as a drive of the same brand name it will most likely work fine; this is what I did, and no coasters yet!

If you are unsure, email [email protected] and ask them if anybody has made them aware of Feurio working with your particular writer. I have informed them of mine working.

yeah you cant use cue files w/ adaptec cd-r win or whatever comes w/ windows 2000 i think

just use cool edit or something to split, but make sure you select DISC AT ONCE when burning, NOT track at once
- or else you get those 2 second gaps between tracks
