2* cdj1000 plus a djm500 for $3199.
get a couple of friends together and you all get a great piece of gear for about $1000. DJM looked a bit used (scratches and stuff) but can't comment on condition cos I was just passing

they might split it since it's relatively expensive. I tried once before for a friend who wanted some goalie's pads for roller hockey, but they wouldn't sell just the pads, only the whole kit.
maybe you could sell of the excess yourself. CDJ1000's for 15-1600 shouldn't be hard to sell, then you get cool mixer and one cdj for yourself.
if only i could scratch i might trade up my cmx3000 for one cdj
